Crussh Juice Bars

Over the Christmas holidays I watched a really interesting TV programme about raw foodism.  I'll write a separate post dedicated just to that TV programme later but as a result of that I started thinking a bit more about how I could easily incorporate more 'freshness' into my own diet.

I've discovered that there is a branch of the chain 'Crussh' quite close to my office and initially I thought 'wow, great, I'll just have a fresh juice everyday' but then I saw the prices (average £4 a drink) and decided that £80 a month (5 days x £4 x 4 weeks) was a bit too much to be spending on juice.  I can just about afford to have a couple a week though and so over the coming weeks I'm aiming to work my way through each of the juices listed on their menu and reviews of each will be coming soon!

Pear and Ginger Cleanser (with a super detox booster)

This is a new addition to the menu and I really enjoyed this juice.  It's both sweet and spicy and very tasty.  I had this juice instead of a sandwich at lunch time today and it was quite filling.  Lots of juice and not too much pulp at the bottom.  I really hope this one proves popular and they keep it on the menu.

10/10

Zinger (with an Aloe Vera booster)

This juice is quite tangy and left me feeling refreshed and full of energy.  A lovely vibrant colour and only a small amount of pulp from the carrot juice.

9/10
