Introduction

I'm writing this blog to try and create some focus and direction with my rather vague goal for 2012 to try and be a bit healthier and fitter.  Who knows, if anyone else bothers to read this I might get some tips and advice along the way and then, when the year is done and dusted this will be something to look back on.

Right so my basic understanding of 'getting fitter' is that this can actually be as simple as eat less and move more.  However, with so many conflicting messages out there about what you should be eating and how you should be moving, exactly how you 'get fitter' can get quite complicated.

Looking back over the past few years I seem to have collected quite a few unused home exercise products, beauty products, treatments and diet supplements.  My plan for this blog is to start using some of these products and log when I add to this 'collection'.  In general my aim is to use each product or programme for 30 days (apart from when it's a one off salon treatment etc.) and then try to decipher whether or not any of these actually deliver any kind of noticeable results.  Wish me luck!

At the beginning of each trial I'll provide some stats to give you a good benchmark on effectiveness, a value for money rating, reasons for or against me using/buying it again and finally an overall score out of 10.

  1. This is your first comment. It's traditional in blog comments to leave reams of abuse and ignorant, half-formed opinion but on this occasion I'll just say good luck, well done, and I hope you achieve what you want to achieve. All the best.
