Circuit Training at Fitness4Less

Last week I attempted the Circuit class at Fitness4Less.  This is where a number of stations are set up in the room and in small groups you work your way round a circuit of exercises.  Down one side of the room there were exercises designed to work the legs such as squats and burpees.  Down the other side of the room were exercises designed to work the arms such as push ups and reverse rows.

Overall I have the same criticisms of this class as the previous.  The amount of instruction given was very minimal with a two second instruction of what each station entailed before each circuit began.  Also due to the short amount of time I felt the warm up and stretching sections were not sufficent and should be given more importance as I find that a proper warm up helps prevent injury and stretching at the end aids recovery.

I'll probably book again just to mix up my routine and do my own warm up before and stretching after but I do feel that ensuring safety should be more of priority at this gym.  I guess at £15 a month you can't expect too much but the instructors really need to think more about teaching proper form in the classes.
