I haven't posted for a little while. Mainly because I have been a bit naughty and very lazy to be quite honest. I have just come back from a lovely holiday in Cornwall but definitely over indulged. I stayed at the Bedruthan hotel and felt completely relaxed in their spa. They have excellent facilities including the steamiest steam room I have ever enjoyed. The one negative I could find was that the hotel boasts three swimming pools but this wasn't explained to me at all during my stay. They have two outdoor pools - one heated and one not. I found the cold outdoor pool on my second day and the heated one on my last day but I believe they also have an indoor pool. I made good use of all the excellent spa facilities but I think there must have been an indoor pool if you took the door to left of the changing rooms and silly me only turned right.
During my stay I also paid a brief visit to their sister hotel called the scarlet. Now if you are ever in this part of the world I thoroughly recommend you at least pop in here for some rest, relaxation, inspiration and a champagne cocktail (or 2 or 3 as I did!). This hotel is adults only and has some especially unusual pieces of art scattered around the many lounges, bars, sun rooms, libraries and other lovely areas they have to sit and relax and snack and drink. I also had a brief look around the spa areas and would be tempted to argue they are even better than Bedruthan although unfortunately I didn't get to experience that for myself.
Definitely recommend a visit to either of these hotels. Both have beautiful scenic views, good food, good drink and great spa facilities. If you are holidaying with children, you will find lots for all ages at Bedruthan but if you are travelling with adults only - definitely recommend the Scarlet.

iPhone Fitness Apps
I've had my iPhone 4 for about a month now and have got a good collection of apps going now. Some of my favourites are:
5K Runner Free.
This has an 8 week plan to get you off the couch and out running until it builds up to a 5k run. The programme is ideal for beginners and great to get you out and about. You can use it while running outdoors or at the gym and the audio prompts just help to keep on track and making progress every day.
Boot camp lolo
This allows you to select your current fitness level from beginner, intermediate or advanced. Next you select your equipment that you have to hand such as a chair or weights or a bench, you can then set the level on intensity that you want to work out to for that day. The app will create a work out routine for you to follow for that day and show a video of how to perform each exercise. It usually recommends things like jogging on the spot for 5 minutes, push ups or sit ups. I find it very handy for days when I'm at home and feel like a quick work out but can't think what to do.
Feel free Butt, Leg and Push ups
These are handy if you want to focus on one particular area of your body. Again, I don't really follow the set daily programme but use these as inspiration when I have the time at home. I personally prefer the Boot Camp app as it mixes things up a bit more but these are handy for those days that you just think - hey, my jeans are a bit tight today! and you can just focus on that butt area.
